Durante estos últimos tiempos, la Comunidad Mundial Bahá’í ha sido movilizada por campañas sistemáticas de expansión, a la par que se hacen diligentes esfuerzos para la educación y consolidación de sus integrantes, siendo su propia transformación, la única forma eficaz de influir en aquellos corazones ávidos de ejemplos y cansados de palabras que condicen con los actos de sus exponentes.

Estas acciones por todo el globo están dirigidas a responder a la creciente perplejidad de un mundo desorientado y sin rumbo, cuyas viejas estructuras ya no pueden sostener el peso de su crecimiento. Cuyos conceptos anticuados no se ajustan a los requerimientos del contexto histórico de nuestros días. Cuyo vacío de Dios, limita la efectividad de los esfuerzos realizados por parte de cualquier emprendimiento humanista, social o económico, por más elevada que sea su intención.

Porque ha sido ampliamente demostrado que la evolución material y tecnológica, si no va acompañada por un crecimiento moral y espiritual, puede llegar a ser altamente destructiva y un freno para el verdadero progreso. También ha quedado expuesto que no hay nada en esta vida que pueda darse por inexpugnable y permanente, salvo las convicciones de aquellos corazones iluminados por la guía infalible de su Creador.

En este proceso, el reto nos demanda redoblar los esfuerzos, cuanto más grande sea nuestro esmero y desprendimiento, constancia y sacrificio, mayores serán las confirmaciones Divinas, lo cual también ha sido frecuentemente demostrado a lo largo de la historia de la Fe Bahá’í desde sus comienzos.

Escudados por las oraciones del Cuerpo Supremo de la sagrada Causa de Dios, y cumpliendo con nuestra parte asignada, el éxito está asegurado.

Llegue nuestro cálido y más profundo agradecimiento para todos, quienes han aportado con sus esfuerzos en las Conferencias Internacionales a través de los Continentes.

During these recent days, the Bahá’í World Community has been mobilized by systematic campaigns of expansion, such that the friends have exhibited diligent efforts towards the education and consolidation of their members, resulting in their own
transformation, which is the only way to influence those eager hearts by being examples to those who are weary of words that are not in accord with the deeds of their exponents.

These activities taking place throughout the globe are directed to respond to the growing perplexity of a disoriented world, without direction, whose worn out structures can no longer sustain the weight of its growth; whose antiquated
concepts cannot adjust to the requirements of the historic context of our days; whose ignorance of God limits the ultimate effectiveness of whatever humanistic endeavor, social or economic is undertaken, no matter how elevated their intention.

It has been amply demonstrated that material and technological evolution, if not accompanied by moral and spiritual growth, can become highly destructive and an obstacle for true progress. It also has been shown that there is nothing in this life that can become impregnable and permanent without the convictions of those hearts illuminated by the infallible guidance of their Creator.

In this process, the challenge demands us to redouble our efforts; how much greater our great diligence and detachment, constancy and sacrifice, the more Divine confirmations will be apparent, which have frequently been demonstrated throughout the history of the Bahá’í Faith since its inception.

Shielded by the prayers of the Supreme Body of the holy Cause of God, and fulfilling our assignment, success is assured.
